Why Zenkai?
Zenkai (全快) means coming back stronger after every fight, just like in Dragon Ball. Two artists, two paths, one obsession: anime pieces with real power. After New York, Mexico City, Tulum and Dubai, Mika and Diana set up their studio in Marseille.

A former dental surgeon from Mexico, Diana moved to New York in 2019. Long Island, then Manhattan, at one of the city’s best studios, on 5th Avenue, where she became an instructor. Chicano-inspired lettering, black & grey realism, animetry: on Zenkai Fusion projects, the freehand and the lettering are hers.

More than ten years of tattooing. Mika opened his first studio in Marseille in 2019 and has specialised in anime since 2020. Resident artist in New York, with an interview and covers for Inked Magazine, then Mexico City, Tulum and Dubai. Black & grey anime sleeves with touches of colour, manga panels, lots of freehand.

Two artists, one piece. The format we keep for big projects. Mika and Diana tattoo your piece together, at the same time or in turns. Mika focuses on the characters, their poses and their power. Diana handles the freehand, composition, effects and lettering. The result: more ambitious pieces, finished in fewer days.
